The Ensemble Poirel consists of a performance hall with 883 seats and an art gallery spanning 1,000 square meters in central Nancy.
Architect Albert Jasson designed the building, which opened in 1889 following a financial contribution from Victor and Lisinka Poirel.
The venue presents over 100 annual events, including symphonic concerts, chamber music performances, theater productions, and contemporary art exhibitions.
The performance space features two seating levels, with 430 seats in the orchestra section and 370 seats in the balcony area.
The concert hall ceiling displays a glass artwork by Charles Champigneulle depicting an allegory of painting.
