Manoir de Veygoux

Manoir de Veygoux is a 17th-century manor house with stone walls and period architecture, now connected to modern exhibition spaces. The building sits on extensive grounds in the Puy-de-Dome area and displays construction and modifications from different eras.

The manor was built in 1623 for the marriage of Sylvaine de Brosson and Annet des Aix, remaining under Desaix family ownership until 1880. Its history is closely tied to this noble family and the changes they experienced over nearly two centuries.

The manor hosts three immersive scenovision shows that depict the life of General Desaix and the French Revolution through multimedia experiences. Visitors can engage with these historical moments and learn about the family's past through interactive presentations.
