The basilica features twenty-four stained glass windows created by artist Arcabas, measuring 6.50 meters in height throughout the main structure.
The construction started in 1922 following a vow by Bishop Alexandre Caillot in 1918, but the completion was delayed until major renovations finished in 2016.
The basilica serves as a central religious hub, offering regular worship services, confession sessions, and community gatherings through weekly 'Viens et Vois' events.
Visitors can access the basilica from Monday through Sunday, with extended hours on weekdays from 7:00 to 18:00 and specific times for weekend services.
The renovation project completed in 2016 expanded the seating capacity to 1,499 and included the installation of contemporary stained glass windows by Arcabas.
