Musée des Arts décoratifs, de la Faïence et de la Mode

The museum exhibits 2,500 works including furniture, ceramics, glassware, tapestries, and fashion pieces within the 1,600 square meter Château Borély.

Château Borély, constructed between 1767 and 1778, represents the period when prosperous Marseille merchants built grand residences in the countryside.

The collection includes exceptional Marseille and Moustiers earthenware, leather wall coverings, panoramic wallpapers, and creations from renowned fashion designers.

The museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with wheelchair accessibility and regular temporary exhibitions throughout the year.

A contemporary chandelier by Mathieu Lehanneur, tapestries by Laurence Aegerter, and mirrors by Hubert Legall were created specifically for the museum spaces.
