Planétarium de Reims, Scientific planetarium in Reims, France.
Planétarium de Reims is a stargazing facility located in the city of Reims with an 8-meter dome for astronomical displays. The interior projects thousands of stars across the curved ceiling using advanced projection equipment.
The facility opened in 1980 at Place Museux within a historic Jesuit building. It relocated to a new location on Avenue du Général De Gaulle in 2013.
The space accommodates around 48 visitors and includes dedicated access areas for people with reduced mobility. Shows run regularly throughout the year for different age groups.
The projection system includes a database showing how the sky looked at specific moments in history, such as the night sky of 1789. Visitors can step back in time and witness celestial configurations from different eras.
