Jardin d'horticulture Schneiter, Public garden in Reims, France

Jardin d'horticulture Schneiter is a public garden in Reims featuring two distinct design styles: an English-style section with a waterfall and a French-style section with geometric flower beds. These areas work together to create a space where water features, colorful plantings, and curved or straight pathways flow throughout.

The garden was created in the late 1800s by landscape architect Édouard Redont, who designed its water features. A rose garden was added during the 1920s, expanding the site's plant collections.

A neoclassical pavilion houses the Société d'Horticulture, an organization that shares botanical knowledge with visitors and works on gardening research. This place draws people who care about plants and how to grow them.

The garden welcomes visitors from April through October, with longer hours available during the warmest months. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as there are many pathways to explore throughout the grounds.

The grounds hold an old Fau de Verzy specimen with distinctly twisted branches, a rare feature among its kind that draws the attention of tree enthusiasts. This natural spiral growth pattern sets it apart from other trees in the collection.
