The beach has been part of the maritime heritage of Cassis since the establishment of the town's fishing port in the medieval period.
Local fishermen continue their traditional practices at Bestouan Beach, bringing in fresh catches that supply the restaurants of Cassis.
Visitors can access supervised swimming from 9 AM to 7 PM between June and September, with parking available for 105 vehicles at the nearby lot.
The beach contains two distinct private sections, Same Same Beach and Le Bestouan PAM, each offering different services within the natural stone environment.
