The building, designed by architect Pierre-Marie Bossan in 1854, served as a convent for the Sisters of the Visitation before its transformation into a hotel.
Each guest room pays tribute to a specific notable person from Lyon's past through decor and information panels detailing their contributions.
The property includes an 82-foot heated lap pool, a spa with whirlpool and Turkish bath, plus Les Téléphones restaurant serving seasonal French cuisine.
The former chapel now functions as the hotel lobby, maintaining its vaulted ceilings and architectural elements while incorporating contemporary design features.
