Château La Brillanne

Château La Brillanne is a wine estate near Aix-en-Provence situated at the base of the Trévaresse mountains and surrounded by vineyards across multiple hectares. The property overlooks Mount Sainte-Victoire and produces rosé, white, and red wines from nine different grape varieties grown on the grounds.

The original building dates to the 15th century when it served as an agricultural structure. In the late 19th century it was transformed into a château with the addition of an upper floor and four square towers.

The estate produces wines under the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence designation, carrying forward regional winemaking traditions passed down through generations. This practice connects local heritage with the daily rhythm of viticulture in this part of Provence.

Visitors can sample the estate's wines including two rosé varieties, one white cuvée, and three red cuvées. The location on a hillside makes orientation straightforward, and the grounds are accessible from the surrounding roads.

The fermentation room was constructed from chestnut wood sourced from the Cevennes region and allows winemaking without chemical additives or added yeasts. This approach helps preserve the natural character of the wine.
