Pointe de la Sambuy

Pointe de la Sambuy is a limestone summit in the Bauges range rising to around 2,200 meters in the Haute-Savoie region. The terrain features open slopes with thermal updrafts ideal for paragliding and multiple hiking routes of varying difficulty.

The summit became part of the Bauges Massif Regional Nature Park when it was established in 1995 to protect the region's natural landscape. This designation helped ensure that the area would remain managed for both conservation and recreational use.
