Corniche du Drac, Natural plateau in Marcieu and Mayres-Savel, France.

The Corniche du Drac extends for six kilometers with an average elevation of 600 meters, overlooking the lower valley of the Drac and Lake Monteynard-Avignonet.

The plateau developed as part of the Taillefer massif formation, connecting historic villages including Rouac, Marcieu, Les Champs, Châteaubois, and Cléau through departmental road 116.

The region incorporates the Huguenot Trail, marking significant Protestant movement paths through France while providing access to traditional mountain communities.

Visitors can access detailed maps and GPS tracks for numerous hiking trails, with the main parking area located at Savel beach for a 5-kilometer round trip.

The Himalayan footbridge of Ebron provides access to the southwestern section of the plateau, offering views across the Trièves and Vercors massif.
