Goudi, Residential district in eastern Athens, Greece
The neighborhood extends along the base of Mount Hymettus, featuring a combination of residential buildings and medical facilities within Athens Municipality.
The area received its name from the Goudis family estate in the 19th century and contained military installations that witnessed the Trial of the Six in 1922.
Three university hospitals, including Laiko Hospital, plus the Medical and Dental faculties of Athens University form the medical education center of the district.
Saint Thomas Square functions as the central gathering point of the neighborhood, with multiple bus connections to other parts of Athens.
Former military grounds transformed into sports venues hosted badminton and modern pentathlon competitions during the 2004 Olympic Games.
