Innopoli, Technology office complex in Otaniemi, Finland
Innopoli is a technology office complex in Otaniemi featuring multiple interconnected buildings at Tekniikantie 12 in Espoo. The facility provides flexible office spaces starting from 10 square meters, along with shared kitchens, three gyms, and five conference rooms with saunas.
The first Innopoli building, designed by architect Kaarina Löfström, opened in 1991 and was followed by Innopoli 2 in 2002. This expansion doubled the available space for companies and research institutions in the complex.
The building fosters connections between academic research from nearby Aalto University and technology companies, creating opportunities for knowledge transfer.
The site is located in Otaniemi, a technology district with good transport connections and close to Aalto University. Access to the buildings and facilities is through modern entrances, and the entire site is designed to accommodate various forms of mobility.
The complex achieves carbon neutrality through environmental initiatives and holds international LEED certifications for all buildings. These certifications document energy-efficient practices that set standards in Finnish technology infrastructure.
