Tapiola Sports Hall

Tapiola Sports Hall is a sports venue with multiple indoor facilities located in the Tapiola district of Espoo. The building contains spaces for different athletic activities and forms part of a larger sports park complex in the area.

Architect Aarne Ervi designed this hall in 1965 as a key building for the Tapiola Garden City development. The project was part of a large-scale urban planning initiative that established new standards for modern living and public infrastructure.

The building displays typical features of Finnish modernism through its concrete forms and expansive glass surfaces. This architectural approach shaped the look of the Tapiola district and reflected the design philosophy of the post-war era.
