Olari Church, Parish church in Niittykumpu, Finland
Olari Church is a parish facility in Niittykumpu with three connected building sections, including a main assembly hall and two community buildings. A sheltered courtyard connects the structures and creates a protected gathering space.
The project grew from an architecture competition in 1976, with construction starting in 1981. Its completion supported the development of the expanding Niittykumpu district with contemporary religious and community facilities.
The building reflects Finnish design principles with generous windows and bright surfaces that fill the interior with daylight. The red brick construction integrates naturally with the modern appearance of the district.
The center sits conveniently in Niittykumpu with easy access via the nearby metro station and available parking. Visitors can move freely between the connected buildings and the courtyard without difficulty.
Red brick runs throughout the entire design, from the outer walls to the interior floors, creating visual continuity. This material was intentionally selected to form a cohesive character across the whole complex.
