Krvavica, Baška Voda

Krvavica is a coastal settlement on the Makarska Riviera, positioned between the Biokovo mountain range and the Adriatic Sea. The village functions as a small beach destination with private accommodations, dining options, and a working harbor for local boats.

The settlement was established in the 18th century as a small fishing village. Archaeological discoveries at multiple sites show that the region had human activity dating back to ancient times.

The Manastirine site preserves a carved tombstone depicting three women and a man with a sword, representing local historical artistry.

The village is most accessible from spring through autumn when roads are in good condition and local businesses operate regularly. Having a car is recommended since the location is somewhat remote and public transportation is limited.

The village preserves traces of ancient civilizations, including a carved stone burial marker depicting human figures that shows local craftsmanship. These archaeological remains offer insights into the lives of people who inhabited the area long before the modern settlement took shape.
