Buža Beach

Buža is a rocky beach situated below Dubrovnik's medieval city walls, featuring concrete platforms constructed into limestone cliffs at different levels. These terraces allow swimmers and sunbathers to find their preferred spot while enjoying views across the Adriatic waters.

The site sits at the base of Dubrovnik's medieval fortifications, and its name comes from the Croatian word 'buža' meaning hole, referring to the small opening cut through the ancient walls. This entrance point has defined the character of the place for centuries.
