Brunszvik Mansion, Classical mansion in Martonvásár, Hungary.
Brunszvik Mansion is a residential building featuring neo-Gothic Baroque design with three-arched windows and a distinctive tower rising from its structure. The main wing contains eleven rooms and now serves as both a museum and cultural space.
The mansion was built in 1785 and later became the Brunszvik family residence when Maria Theresa presented it as a gift to Antal Brunszvik. It then evolved into a cultural hub during the following century.
The Brunszvik family welcomed Beethoven as a guest multiple times, and the house preserves memories of their artistic connection. Visitors can explore traces of this relationship and the cultural life that flourished here during the 1800s.
The estate includes an Agroverzum Centre offering educational activities suitable for visitors of all ages throughout the year. The grounds provide ample space for walking and exploring the entire property.
A seventy-acre English Park surrounds the mansion and features an artificial island with a Beethoven statue at its center. The park also functions as a working research facility for agricultural studies, blending nature with scientific work.
