Saint Anne Round Church in Kallósd

The Saint Anne Round Church is a Catholic church building with a circular floor plan, constructed with stone foundations and brick walls. It features a conical roof and semicircular windows positioned at the southwestern entrance.

This structure was built around 1260 by Miklós, a descendant of Orosz. Over the centuries, it became connected to the Abbey of Kapornak and underwent significant modifications during the 19th century.

The church functions as a concert venue during summer months, hosting musical performances within its historic interior space. Visitors can experience classical music and traditional concerts in this intimate setting.

This building dates from the Árpád Age and represents one of the few examples of round church architecture in the region. It underwent significant restoration work between 1989 and 1993, during which an added corridor was removed.
