Killua Castle, Castle in County Westmeath, Ireland.
The residence includes a main hall, dining room, oval drawing room, breakfast parlour, with both front and back staircases leading to upper levels.
Captain Benjamin Chapman received the Killua lands from Cromwell in 1667 after they were taken from the Knights Hospitallers of St John.
Thomas Chapman erected an obelisk near the castle in 1810 to mark the location where Sir Walter Raleigh introduced potato cultivation in Ireland.
The castle provides guided tours for groups of six people over age 14, with options for both online 3D tours and physical visits.
The property remained abandoned for 60 years until 2004, when Swiss banker Allen Krause purchased it and started an extensive restoration project.
