TOG, Community hackerspace in Bluebell, Dublin, Ireland.
TOG is a community-run maker space in the Bluebell area with 3D printers, laser cutters, electronics laboratories, and workshop areas for different types of projects. The facility functions as a shared workshop where people come together to work on technical and creative ideas.
It was founded in 2009 as Dublin's first dedicated community workspace for technology enthusiasts and creators. Since then, it has remained a central gathering point for makers and innovators in the city.
People with different skills gather here regularly: electronics enthusiasts work alongside software developers, artists, and hobbyists interested in brewing. This mix creates an environment where technical projects and hands-on creative work coexist naturally.
The space opens every Tuesday evening from 19:00 to 21:30 for visitors to explore the facilities and learn about membership. Newcomers should allow time to wander through the different areas and chat with people who are working there.
The electronics laboratory runs specialized workshops where visitors learn to build circuits and program microcontrollers. These sessions also include access to satellite data reception, connecting the space to space technology.
