Rosserk Friary, Franciscan friary in County Mayo, Ireland

The medieval stone structure features a single-aisle nave, two chantry chapels in the south transept, and a bell tower over the chancel arch.

The Joyce family established this religious complex in 1440 for the Franciscan Third Order Regular, which served the local community until its destruction in 1590.

The double piscina in the chancel contains intricate stone carvings depicting a round tower of Killala, two angels, and instruments of the passion.

The site maintains three vaulted rooms on each side, with visible remnants of the dormitory, refectory, and kitchen spaces on the upper floor.

Two original fireplaces remain positioned back-to-back on the upper level, demonstrating the medieval heating system of this religious structure.
