Tralee Courthouse, Judicial building in Ashe Street, Tralee, Ireland
The Tralee Courthouse exhibits neoclassical architecture with a symmetrical frontage, featuring a hexastyle portico supported by Ionic columns and stone steps.
William Vitruvius Morrison designed this judicial facility in 1834, which later served as a meeting place for Kerry County Council until January 1910.
Two historical cannons from the Crimean War and Indian Rebellion stand on the courthouse steps as memorials to fallen Kerrymen.
The courthouse operates Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, processing civil and family law cases for the Kerry community.
The building includes a grand entrance with a flight of ashlar stone steps leading to a prominent portico with six classical columns.
