Yavne

Yavne is a city in the Rehovot sub-district with residential areas spread across its landscape and a population exceeding 56,000 people. The town features modern neighborhoods with homes, commercial spaces, and public facilities that serve daily community life.

After the Second Temple's destruction, Yavne became a center where Jewish leaders and scholars gathered to study and preserve their traditions. This period transformed the town into a place of learning and spiritual importance for the Jewish community.
