Belz Beis HaMedrash HaGadol is a large synagogue in Kiryat Belz with a main hall for thousands of worshippers and smaller prayer rooms on lower floors. The building uses multiple spaces to serve daily prayers and larger gatherings on important days.
Construction of this synagogue began in the 1980s under the leadership of Rabbi Yissachar Dov Rokeach II. The project took about fifteen years to complete, finishing in the year 2000.
