Megiddo, Kibbutz in Jezreel Valley, Israel.
Kibbutz Megiddo stands at 155 meters elevation in northern Israel, offering residential spaces and agricultural facilities within the Megiddo Regional Council jurisdiction.
Founded in 1949 by Holocaust survivors from Hungary and Poland, Kibbutz Megiddo transformed uncultivated land into a productive agricultural settlement.
The community maintains workshops in ceramics, fitness programs, and tattoo artistry, representing modern interpretations of traditional kibbutz collective living.
Located near Highway 65 connecting Hadera to Afula, the kibbutz houses 867 residents and includes Sigali's Italian Restaurant for visitors.
The kibbutz sits one kilometer from Tel Megiddo archaeological site, where excavations revealed 20 layers of civilization spanning 7000 years.
