Palmach Cave

The cave lies at the edge of Kibbutz Mishmar HaEmek, concealed within a forest area that extends across the western Jezreel Valley region.

During the 1940s, this underground space functioned as a secret training facility for specialized Palmach units, including the German and Arab departments.

The cave site contributed to the development of the Israel Defense Forces ethical code, emphasizing principles of mission dedication and personnel protection.

Visitors need to make reservations in advance to join guided tours, which include walking excursions through Menashe Forest and observation points.

The location features extreme activities such as rope courses and climbing walls, combined with opportunities for traditional campfire gatherings.
