The Forerunner of John Monastery is an Orthodox monastery complex in Jericho featuring a two-story residential building, auxiliary structures, and gardens with palms, grapevines, and citrus trees. The property covers approximately 1.5 hectares and operates as a hospice for pilgrims and visitors.
Archimandrite Antonin Kapustin acquired the property in 1874 to establish a hostel for pilgrims traveling to the Jordan River. Excavations in 1891 uncovered columns and architectural fragments from a 6th-century Byzantine church.

The monastery operates as a pilgrimage and guest center under the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission, providing lodging for clergy, sisters, and visitors. It is most easily reached on foot from central Jericho.
The site is associated with the house of Zacchaeus the tax collector from biblical accounts, who according to tradition lived in ancient Jericho. This connection has made it a significant stop on biblical pilgrimage routes.
