Yitzhak Rabin Park

Yitzhak Rabin Park is a large natural area in the Shaar HaGai region with woodlands, open hills, and several archaeological sites scattered throughout. The landscape includes various pathways and viewpoints across the surrounding terrain.

This area was an important location during the War of Independence with significant military activity. The region also bears traces of settlement from biblical times through to modern periods.

The park carries the name of a former Prime Minister and serves as a place to remember his legacy. Visitors walk through areas that hold personal significance to his life and work.

The park can be reached via Route 44 from Nahshon Junction or Route 38 between Shaar HaGai and Shimshon Junction, with parking available. Roads within the park are passable for vehicles, making it easier to explore different spots.

The park features numerous dirt roads and observation points from which visitors can see views of the Jerusalem mountains and the landscape below. These viewpoints are accessible via well-marked routes suitable for vehicles.
