The Jewish Partisans and Ghetto Fighters Memorial in Latrun is a monument by the artist Alexander Bogen, unveiled at the museum site in 2008. It commemorates the partisans and ghetto fighters who resisted Nazi Germany and its allies, alongside some 1.5 million Jewish soldiers in the Allied armies. The monument stands within the Yad La-Shiryon compound, halfway between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

In 2008, a monument to partisans and ghetto fighters by artist Alexander Bogen was dedicated at the site. On 7 May 2015, a ceremony marking 70 years since the victory over Nazi Germany was held beside the still-empty museum building, and commemorative medals bearing the museum's name were issued for the veterans present. The museum itself was completed in the second half of 2023.

The memorial is named for Chaim Herzog, Israel's sixth president, who served as a British Army officer in World War II and later became a general in the IDF. It was created by sculptor Alexander Bogen, a former partisan commander, and was inaugurated in 2008 at the site of the planned museum. The memorial commemorates the partisans and ghetto fighters alongside some 1.5 million Jewish soldiers, about 250,000 of whom fell in battle.

The site sits near the Ayalon Highway and provides access to exhibitions and informational displays about resistance fighters. Visitors will find documentation and personal accounts that help them understand the historical narrative.

The memorial for partisans and ghetto fighters was inaugurated in 2008, years before the museum building itself was completed. Its creator, the artist Alexander Bogen, was himself a partisan commander in the forests of Belarus during the war. The monument therefore stood alone at the Latrun site while the museum was still being planned.
