Karmei Yosef

Karmei Yosef is a community settlement in the Judean foothills surrounded by agricultural fields and vineyards in central Israel. The village sits on elevated terrain and falls under the jurisdiction of the Gezer Regional Council.

The settlement was founded in 1984 when residents from nearby towns chose to establish their community in this location. It was named to honor a significant figure from that era.

The settlement maintains strong agricultural traditions visible in its extensive vineyards, where grapes are grown for wine and fresh consumption alongside olive cultivation.

The settlement sits in a hilly region positioned between two major population centers, making it relatively accessible. The surrounding landscape offers plenty of green space, so sturdy footwear is recommended for exploring the area.
