Tomb of Huldah the prophetess

The Tomb of Huldah sits south of the Temple Mount wall, marked by stone structures from different historical periods. It lies within the Ophel archaeological area, where several ancient remains and religious sites come together.

According to tradition, Huldah served as a prophet in the 7th century BCE during King Josiah's reign and spoke about Jerusalem's future. Her name is linked to major religious events of that era.

The tomb is reachable through the Ophel archaeological area, located south of the Temple Mount and linked to other historic sites. Wearing sturdy shoes is advised, as the ground is uneven and partly scattered with debris.
