Tel Azaziat, Summit in Golan Heights, Israel.
Tel Azaziat rises 330 meters above sea level, featuring remnants of military fortifications and commanding views over the eastern Hula Valley.
The summit served as a Syrian military outpost in the demilitarized zone until Israeli forces captured it during the Six-Day War in 1967.
The mountain stands as a testament to the territorial changes and military conflicts that have shaped the modern borders of northern Israel.
Visitors must follow marked paths due to unexploded ordnance, while the site provides perspectives of Moshav She'ar Yashuv and Kibbutz Dan.
The mountaintop contains preserved Syrian bunkers and fortifications from the 1960s, located 1.5 kilometers from neighboring settlements.
