The Eye of the Sun

The Eye of the Sun is a 14-meter-high sculpture with reflective surfaces that continuously shift the way light bounces across its form. The structure stands as a centerpiece in the city's downtown area and transforms its visual presence throughout the day.

Israeli artist Yaacov Agam created this work rooted in his global practice with kinetic art and visual perception. The installation represents his contribution to reshaping the public space of Ashdod.
