Auraiya district, Administrative district in Kanpur division, India
Located between Kanpur and Etawah, Auraiya district extends over 2054 square kilometers with a network of seven administrative blocks and three tehsils.
The district emerged from Etawah in 1997 when the government of Uttar Pradesh separated the tehsils of Auraiya and Bidhuna to establish independent administration.
