Bhuleshwar Temple, Pune, Hindu temple in Malshiras village near Yavat, India
The temple features black basalt stone construction with detailed wall carvings depicting Hindu deities and mythological narratives throughout its structure.
Built during the 13th century by the Yadava dynasty, the temple underwent reconstruction in the 17th century after partial destruction during Mughal rule.
The temple contains a Shivalinga in its inner sanctuary, guarded by a Nandi Bull, along with statues of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu.
Located 54 kilometers from Pune on the Pune-Solapur highway, the temple requires climbing 200 steps and remains open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
The temple houses an uncommon representation of Ganesha dressed in female attire, known as Ganeshwari or Lambodari by local worshippers.
