Jinnah House, Indo-Saracenic bungalow in Malabar Hill, Mumbai, India.

Jinnah House is an Indo-Saracenic mansion on Malabar Hill in Mumbai featuring Italian marble walls and walnut woodwork throughout. The building spans approximately 2.5 acres with distinctive pointed arches and sits with sea views in one of the city's most exclusive neighborhoods.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah commissioned architect Claude Batley to design this mansion in 1936. The residence became a meeting place for significant political negotiations in the years leading up to Indian independence.

The house hosted pivotal discussions between political leaders during India's independence movement. The rooms reflect a time when this building stood at the center of crucial national conversations.

The house is currently not open for regular visits and remains closed to the public. Visitors should check in advance whether the property is accessible for cultural events or special viewings.

Italian stonemasons were brought specifically from Italy to India to work on construction under the owner's direct supervision. This craftwork detail shows the level of attention paid to the quality and finesse of the residence.
