Shreepati Arcade, High-rise residential building in Nana Chowk, Mumbai, India
Shreepati Arcade is a modern high-rise residential building with 45 floors reaching approximately 154 meters in height. The structure combines glass and concrete elements throughout its design and houses numerous residential units.
The project was completed in 2002 and replaced an area with older deteriorating buildings that housed approximately 300 residents. This transformation was part of Mumbai's modern high-rise development.
The residential complex follows a strict vegetarian-only policy for all residents, reflecting specific practices within Indian residential communities. This rule shapes daily life and how people in the building interact with each other.
The building features modern elevators that provide quick transportation between all floors. Keep in mind that this is a private residential building, so access for non-residents is typically restricted.
The building includes a dedicated emergency floor on the eighth level specifically designed for emergency services and safety operations. This feature reflects thoughtful design for protecting all residents.
