Millennium Park, Riverfront park in Kolkata, India
The park extends for 2.5 kilometers along the eastern shore of the Hooghly River, featuring landscaped gardens and recreational facilities for families.
The Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority inaugurated this park on December 26, 1999 as part of the Riverside Beautification Project for the city.
The park forms an integral part of the Hooghly Riverfront, offering views of traditional wooden boats and river activities from its numerous observation points.
Visitors can access the park daily from 10 AM to 6:30 PM, with an entrance fee of 5 rupees and additional charges for boat rides.
The children's section contains multiple entertainment options including a toy train, pirate-themed attractions, and bumper cars alongside river viewing areas.
