Hill Fort Kesroli

Hill Fort Kesroli is a seven-turreted granite fortress standing on elevated terrain with 31 rooms spread across arched verandahs, extensive halls, and defensive walls within its square layout. The property offers daily housekeeping, included breakfast, bicycle rentals, and swimming facilities along with indoor games such as chess and carom.

The fort was built in the 14th century by the Yaduvanshi Rajputs and subsequently passed between the Khanzadas, Mughals, and Jats before returning to Rajput control in 1775. This series of ownership changes shaped the site's architectural and cultural development.

The rooms carry names of historical significance such as Mubarak Mahal, Rajhans Mahal, and Nirmal Mahal, reflecting traditional Rajasthani heritage. Guests experience this connection to the past through naming choices that weave cultural history into every stay.

The site sits on the main plateau of the region, and visitors can explore most areas with relative ease, though some stairs and narrow passages exist. It is advisable to wear sturdy footwear and arrive early in the day for better natural light while viewing the structure.
