Son View Point, Nature park in Robertsganj, India
Son View Point is a nature park on Markundi Hill in Robertsganj, situated about 300 meters (980 feet) above sea level and offering views of the Son Valley. The location has a restaurant serving casual food and operates year-round.
The site was officially opened on August 11, 2003, by the District Magistrate of Sonbhadra as a recreational destination for the region. This establishment transformed a natural hillside into a public gathering space.
Local people and visitors gather here to enjoy the vistas, with the Veer Lorik Stone serving as a notable reference point in the landscape.
The viewpoint is located about 6 kilometers from central Robertsganj and is easily reachable. Visitors will find basic amenities including a restaurant on site.
During the monsoon season, small waterfalls emerge around the viewpoint, transforming the Markundi Hill landscape considerably. This seasonal occurrence offers visitors a dramatically different experience of the same place.
