Querim Beach

Querim Beach is the northernmost beach of Goa, stretching two kilometers along the Arabian Sea with white sand and scattered pine trees. The coastline features natural elements that shape the terrain and give the beach its distinctive character.

A fort from the 17th century stands on the cliff at the northern end, marking the historical boundary between Goa and Maharashtra. This structure reflects a period of territorial control and defines the geographical identity of this beach.

The area blends Portuguese colonial structures with Indian temples that reflect how different religious traditions coexist in this region. Both faiths have shaped the local landscape over centuries and remain visible in the daily life here.

Traveling from the regional capital provides easy access via local roads. The most pleasant months to visit are November through March, when weather conditions are dry and mild.
