Naghsh-e-Jahan Stadium

Naghsh-e-Jahan Stadium is a sports facility in Isfahan with three tiers of seating accommodating around 75,000 spectators on a natural grass surface. The playing field measures 105 by 68 meters and regularly hosts top-level football matches.

Construction of the sports facility began in 1997 and was completed in 2003, followed by major renovation work. The stadium officially reopened in November 2016 after these updates.

The stadium's name means 'Design of the World', linking its modern structure to Isfahan's Persian architectural heritage. This concept shows how contemporary sports facilities in the city dialogue with its artistic legacy.

The stadium hosted a match between Sepahan and Malavan that drew roughly 70,000 spectators. This encounter in April 2023 showed the venue's ability to bring together large crowds for beloved local football moments.
