Jökulsárgljúfur

Jökulsárgljúfur is a large canyon stretching more than 25 kilometers through northern Iceland, with depths exceeding 100 meters at many points. The rock walls and river course display striking formations and green vegetation zones along the water.

The location is home to Europe's most powerful waterfall, Dettifoss, where water plunges over steep edges with striking force. This site is known among visitors for its power and roar, offering views from different vantage points.
