Ss. Pietro e Paolo a Via Ostiense, Minor basilica in EUR district, Rome, Italy

The church features a Greek cross layout with a central cube structure and a hemispherical dome measuring 32 meters in diameter.

Construction began in 1939 but halted during World War II when the site became a battleground between Italian soldiers and German paratroopers in 1943.

Large statues of Saints Peter and Paul, Rome's patron saints, stand at the portico sides above the monumental staircase leading to Europe Avenue.

The basilica stands at the highest point of EUR district and includes a pipe organ built in 1960 by Libero Rino Pinchi, later expanded in 1990.

The dome ranks as Rome's fourth largest, following those of the Pantheon, Saint Peter's Basilica, and San Giovanni Bosco.
