Palazzo Magnani, Renaissance palazzo in central Bologna, Italy.
The palazzo features a grand courtyard with a statue of Hercules bearing the face of Lorenzo Magnani, surrounded by classical architectural elements.
Construction of Palazzo Magnani began in 1577 under architect Domenico Tibaldi, who directed the work until his death in 1583, when Floriano Ambrosini continued.
The main hall contains a remarkable frescoed frieze depicting the Histories of the Foundation of Rome, created in 1590 by the Carracci brothers.
The building currently serves as a local office for Unicredit bank, with guided tours available every weekend for groups of up to 20 visitors.
A monumental chimney created by Ambrosini displays statues of Minerva and Mars by Gabriele Fiorini, crowned with the Lupercalia by Annibale Carracci.
