Teatro della Società

Teatro della Società is a Neoclassical building in Lecco featuring a horseshoe-shaped main hall with three tiers of balconies arranged around the space. The interior is marked by a domed ceiling decorated with ornamental details that give the room its refined appearance.

The theatre was designed by architect Giuseppe Bovara from 1843 to 1844 and opened with a Donizetti opera performance. It became one of the region's primary venues for artistic presentations in the decades that followed.
