Centro Meridiana features three ten-story towers surrounding a central square, connected by walkways accessible from both the shopping center and street level.
The complex opened in October 1999 on the former industrial site of Caleotto steelworks, marking a shift from industrial to commercial development in Lecco.
Japanese artist Susumu Shingu created rotating sails mounted on the towers, integrating contemporary art with architectural design in public spaces.
The center provides 2,000 parking spaces across surface and underground lots, with 36,000 square meters dedicated to retail spaces and a hypermarket.
The structure incorporates a 32,000-square-meter urban park, combining commercial facilities with green spaces in the city center.
