Monte Rosso rises to an elevation of 3,337 meters, featuring multiple trails and passages that lead climbers through the eastern ridge of the mountain.

The mountain received its summit cross in 1978 and functioned as a natural timekeeper for the residents of Val di Fosse under the name Cima Dieci.

The mountain carries two names, Monte Rosso in Italian and Roteck in German, reflecting the linguistic diversity of the South Tyrol region.

The ascent starts at Rifugio Cima Fiammante, with two main hiking trails offering different durations: a 4-hour route via Valle del Rio di Tel and a 2.5-hour path.

Trail number 9 from Rifugio Lodner guides hikers through secured passages and firn snow fields before reaching the mountain's summit at 3,337 meters.
