Cima d'Ambiez, Alpine summit in Trentino, Italy

Rising to 3,102 meters, Cima d'Ambiez reveals steep granite walls and vertical faces within the Brenta Dolomites mountain range.

German mountaineers Gaskell, Holzmann, and Kaufmann achieved the first recorded ascent of Cima d'Ambiez on September 5, 1880.

The mountain maintains multiple established climbing routes, including Via Fox-Stenico and Patacorta, which represent Italian mountaineering traditions.

Rifugio Silvio Agostini, positioned at 2,410 meters elevation, provides overnight accommodations with 57 beds from June through September.

The summit features an east wall of exceptional rock quality, presenting climbing routes that range from beginner level to advanced UIAA grade VII.
